Hello THRIVERS!

As I think back over the founding of THRIVE ON!, I contemplate over the many conversations held with Aidan Galloway, Peter Kline, Cammie Jones, and Sway Rosario-Caliz. I think about our first project, THRIVE ON! Kingston, the boxes of materials in Sway's living room, our "packing party", and the amazing feeling when the kits were delivered to the organizations who then distributed them to the homeless. I think of the projects that followed- Masks for meals, Sweaters/Cider/Soup, Beyond 4 walls, and the countless others that our interns brought to life. THRIVE ON! is a vision for a future that reimagines equity in educational opportunities for our communities. 

 

As you begin your journey with the Early Thriver Program, remember that your work is essential to continuing impacting Kingston and the many other communities in the future.
