THRIVE ON! and Community Action of Ulster County Deepen Partnership with Launch of The Co•Lab
THRIVE ON! Network Inc. (THRIVE ON!) and Community Action of Ulster County (UCCAC) are proud to announce the opening of The Co•Lab, a new shared satellite space at UCCAC’s Kingston campus that will serve as a hub for THRIVE ON!’s growing initiatives.

Anchoring the Partnership
The Co•Lab deepens the partnership between THRIVE ON! and Community Action, which began with the incubation of the PonckHockie Market. Now, alongside the youth-led market that operates on UCCAC’s parking lot, THRIVE ON! will have dedicated access to office space, storage, fridges, and day-to-day resources to support its programs.
“This is more than just a space—it’s a launchpad,” said Keyvious Avery, President of THRIVE ON!. “The Co•Lab represents stability for THRIVE ON! and an expansion of what’s possible for our youth-led projects.”
A Hub for THRIVE ON!’s Work
From this shared home, THRIVE ON! will:
Continue growing the PonckHockie Market as a food access and community hub.
Strengthen the Early Thrivers program, providing space for youth leadership development.
Begin shaping future economic development projects, grounded in community need and collaboration.
By locating inside UCCAC’s facilities, THRIVE ON!’s youth and partners also gain access to UCCAC’s institutional connections and resources, reinforcing the belief that grassroots and established organizations can work side by side to build community power.
A Shared Commitment to Community
“The Co•Lab is an example of what true partnership looks like,” said UCCAC leader, Douglas Blancero. “We’re proud to share our space and resources with THRIVE ON! because we know their youth-led work is making a real difference in this community.”
The opening of The Co•Lab marks a new chapter for THRIVE ON!—one where youth-driven innovation and institutional support converge to drive meaningful change.
