Kristie Hagen Joins THRIVE ON! Board as Donor Relations & Community Giving Chair
THRIVE ON! Network Inc. (THRIVE ON!) is proud to announce that Kristie Hagen has joined the THRIVE ON! Board of Directors as Donor Relations & Community Giving Chair, bringing nearly two decades of fundraising experience, a track record of legislative impact, and deep roots in the Hudson Valley community.

A Fundraiser Committed to Equity and Inclusion
Kristie Hagen is a dedicated fundraising professional whose career has been shaped by a single through line: building a more equitable and inclusive world. Her journey into philanthropy began at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she studied Communications and discovered her passion for giving back—a passion that has since taken her from Washington, DC to New York City to the Hudson Valley.
A 40 Under 40 honoree and leadership mentor, Kristie brings to everything she does a commitment to centering community, building relationships, and ensuring that resources reach the people and causes that need them most.
Current Role and Areas of Expertise
Kristie currently serves as Annual Giving Manager at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation (CPARF), where she stewards donors and leads the organization's peer-to-peer fundraising and recurring giving programs in support of groundbreaking research and assistive technology innovation.
Her career reflects a wide range of fundraising experience across the nonprofit sector:
National Down Syndrome Society — where she contributed to the successful passage of the ABLE Act in 2014, landmark legislation that expanded financial independence for disabled Americans.
United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region — leading community awareness and impactful fundraising initiatives across the Hudson Valley.
Nonprofit and hospitality roles in New York City and Washington, DC — building a strong foundation in donor relations, public engagement, and community building.
Strengthening THRIVE ON!'s Development Work
As Donor Relations & Community Giving Chair, Kristie will bring her expertise in annual giving, peer-to-peer fundraising, and donor stewardship directly to THRIVE ON!'s development strategy. Her role will help ensure that THRIVE ON! builds the sustainable funding relationships needed to support its programs and partnerships long into the future.
