ONE STRIKE Pilots Programming at The Broadway Bubble
THRIVE ON!’s Rootwork-transplanted initiative ONE STRIKE has launched its summer pilot program at The Broadway Bubble and Community Hub, bringing pop-up youth and family programming to this vibrant Midtown community space.

Pop-Ups Meet Community Care
Located at 718 Broadway, The Broadway Bubble is more than a laundromat—it's a community hub built to offer affordable services, educational programs, and social gathering spaces in multiple languages, alongside a play area and a backyard equipped for events.
ONE STRIKE’s programming at the Bubble includes “pop-up” activities designed to spark connection and creativity—aligning with the hub’s mission that “Community is a Verb.”
A Warm and Intentional Collaboration
The Broadway Bubble, run by Kingston Midtown Rising, provides a nonjudgmental space where community-centered programming can thrive. ONE STRIKE chose this site intentionally, knowing its welcoming atmosphere would amplify the reach and impact of their youth-and-family pop-ups.
Toward Ongoing Engagement
This summer’s pilot is ONE STRIKE’s stepping stone toward deeper, sustained programming in community spaces. Rootwork’s partnership—offering both infrastructure and Early Thrivers support—is setting the stage for lasting collaboration rooted in joy, inclusion, and neighborhood resilience.
