THRIVE ON! Pilots Adjunct Early Thrivers Route with Children’s Home of Kingston
THRIVE ON! Network Inc. (THRIVE ON!) has launched the Adjunct Early Thrivers route in partnership with the Children’s Home of Kingston (CHK), marking the beginning of a new way for youth to participate in THRIVE ON!’s work.

A New Pathway Into Early Thrivers
Through the adjunct route, CHK youth officially became Early Thrivers, expanding the program beyond its first Kingston-based cohort. This pathway allows THRIVE ON! to collaborate directly with youth service organizations, integrating their young people into THRIVE ON! initiatives in a way that is both meaningful and purposeful.
In its first pilot, CHK Early Thrivers supported prep work for the build of the PonckHockie Market, helping advance one of THRIVE ON!’s flagship community projects.
Advancing Projects, Deepening Partnerships
The Adjunct Early Thrivers model is designed to create win-win collaborations. Youth from organizations like CHK gain hands-on experience in community transformation, while THRIVE ON! benefits from new energy, ideas, and labor that push forward critical projects.
“This route strengthens our mission in two ways,” said Keyvious Avery, President of THRIVE ON!. “It gives more young people the opportunity to step into leadership as Early Thrivers, and it allows THRIVE ON! to build deeper, more purposeful partnerships with existing youth service organizations in our region.”
A First Step With CHK
For CHK, the pilot offered students a chance to contribute to tangible community change while being recognized as full Early Thrivers. For THRIVE ON!, it marked the first of many collaborations that will connect youth from different backgrounds into a shared ecosystem of leadership and innovation.
